Overview:  

Taylor Metal Products is seeking an outgoing, reliable, full-time, long-term team member. This position supports several outside sales staff and requires some construction knowledge (including, but not limited to: sheet metal, roofing, etc). Good communication and phone skills are required. The employee must be organized, and have good math and writing skills. This position offers much variety, with many opportunities to learn and develop your career. Casual but fast paced office environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and serving customers.

 

Job Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED, college degree preferred
• Ability to quickly learn computer programs
• Electronic file maintenance and tracking experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Detail oriented with ability to compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data
• Good time management skills ‐‐ ability to maintain levels of productivity including backing‐up other positions in the company
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Quickly and accurately input customer orders into a cloud based system
• Accept and learn from constructive criticism
• Multi‐line phone skills

Our company prefers promotion from within. This position may have chances to move into other sales, accounting, inventory management, or purchasing roles based on experience. Our ownership believes in placing employees to their strengths.
